Here are answers to the most common questions about ordering Scento products from different European countries.
General International Shipping
Where does Scento ship from?
All orders ship from our fulfillment center in Bucharest, Romania. From there, packages travel via DPD to destinations across Europe.
Can I order from a different country than where I live?
Yes! You can browse our site from anywhere, and we'll ship to any of our supported European destinations. Just enter your delivery address at checkout.
Do prices change based on my country?
Prices are displayed in EUR for most countries. Romania sees prices in RON. The product prices are the same across Europe - only shipping costs vary by region.
Delivery Questions
How long does international delivery take?
Delivery times vary based on destination and carrier schedules. These are estimates only:

Why do some countries have minimum order requirements?
To ensure cost-effective shipping, some countries have a β¬20 minimum order requirement. This helps us offer competitive shipping rates. Countries with minimums include:
Germany, Italy, Austria
Belgium, Ireland
Luxembourg, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Cyprus
Is tracking available for international orders?
Yes, all international orders include full tracking via DPD. You'll receive tracking details by email once your order ships.
Customs & Duties
Will I pay customs fees on my order?
EU countries: No customs fees (single market)
UK: Possible customs/VAT charges (see our customs article)
Are there any import restrictions on perfume?
Not within the EU. Our decant sizes comply with all EU shipping regulations. See our perfume shipping guide for details.
Address & Delivery
Can I ship to a PO Box?
We recommend shipping to a physical address. DPD may have difficulty delivering to PO Boxes in some countries. If you only have a PO Box, contact us first at [email protected].
Can I ship to a different country than my billing address?
Yes, your shipping and billing addresses can be in different countries. This is common for gifts.
What if I'm not home for delivery?
DPD typically:
Attempts redelivery the next business day
Leaves a notification card with instructions
May leave the package with a neighbor (varies by country)
Holds the package at a local pickup point
Check your DPD tracking for specific options in your country.
Subscription International Shipping
Do subscriptions ship internationally?
Yes! Subscriptions ship to all supported EU countries. Monthly deliveries typically arrive within 3-7 business days, though this may vary.
Can I change my shipping country after subscribing?
Yes. Update your shipping address in your account settings before your next billing date.
Are subscription prices the same in all countries?
Yes, subscription pricing (β¬14.99/month for 1 fragrance) is consistent across Europe. Shipping costs are included in the subscription price.
Returns for International Orders
How do international returns work?
The same as domestic returns:

Ship the unopened item back
Note: You're responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked service.
Can I get a refund in my local currency?
Refunds are processed to your original payment method in the currency you paid. Your bank handles any conversion.
