How do I reset my password?
If you've forgotten your password or want to change it, you can reset it in less than a minute using your email address.
Reset a Forgotten Password
Step 1: Request Reset Link
Go to scento.com/sign-in
Click "Forgot password?"
Enter the email address associated with your account
Click "Send Reset Link"
Step 2: Check Your Email
Open your email inbox
Look for an email from Scento with subject: "Reset Your Scento Password"
Check spam/junk folder if you don't see it within a few minutes
Step 3: Create New Password
Click the "Reset Password" button in the email
Enter your new password (minimum 6 characters)
Confirm your new password
Click "Update Password"
Step 4: Log In
Use your new password to sign in to your account.
Important Notes
Link Expiration
Reset links expire after 24 hours
If your link has expired, request a new one
You can request multiple reset links if needed
Password Requirements
Minimum 6 characters
We recommend using a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols
Avoid using easily guessed passwords (like "password123")
I Didn't Receive the Reset Email
If you haven't received the password reset email:
Check These First
Spam/Junk folder - Reset emails often land there
Promotions tab - Gmail may filter it
Correct email - Make sure you entered the right address
Wait a few minutes - Delivery can take up to 10 minutes
Still Nothing?
Request another reset link
Try a different email if you have multiple accounts
Contact [email protected] if you're still stuck
Change Password (When Already Logged In)
If you're already logged in and want to change your password:
Go to Account Settings
Scroll to the security section
Click "Change Password"
Enter your current password
Enter your new password
Confirm and save
Signed Up with Google or Facebook?
If you created your account using Google or Facebook:
You don't have a Scento password to reset
Continue signing in with Google/Facebook
To add a password, sign in with your social account first, then add a password in account settings

Strong Passwords
Use at least 8 characters
Include uppercase and lowercase letters
Add numbers and special characters
Avoid dictionary words or personal info

Don't share your password
Use a unique password for Scento
Consider using a password manager
Enable two-factor authentication if available
Common Issues
"Email not found"
This means no account exists with that email. Check for typos or try another email address. You may need to create a new account.
"Reset link expired"
Request a new reset link from the sign-in page. Links expire after 24 hours for security.
"Password doesn't meet requirements"
Make sure your new password is at least 6 characters long.
Reset worked but still can't log in
Clear your browser cache and cookies
Try a different browser
Make sure you're using the new password, not the old one
